TEM Mandeks d.o.o. was established in 1993 and currently has 54 employees. The Headquarter is situated in Široki Brijeg, where the production and storage facilities are also located.

The company’s main activity is the production of electrical installation equipment and the main products are modern solution sockets and switches, junction boxes, switchboards, data trunking and floor boxes.

TEM Mandeks d.o.o. is an export-oriented company and its long-term aim is to further invest in the company’s development, specifically opening up to new markets, capacity expansion and production quality improvement and increasing the company’s profitability.

TEM Mandeks d.o.o. aims for a leading competitive position in the field of production of electrical installation equipment and exports of such goods. This requires capacity expansion and improvement of production processes. In order to achieve the planned goals, the company invested in the purchase of Eccentric press and Feeding line, a Hydraulic Guillotine Shear and tools for production. The new machine is fully compliant with relevant EU Directives and improves the company`s competitive positioning in the international markets as well as in its home market, it consumes less energy than the old machine and increases the health and safety conditions of workers.

New machines will be used for filling the recently formed department of metal processing, in which was invested around 600,000.00 EUR and will enable the expansion of production.

The company received free technical assistance to optimize its investment project and 15% grant cash-back after the successful project verification, funded by the European Union. 

With the investment, the company now meets a wide variety of standards, including:

    • Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment
    • Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on waste electrical and electronic equipment
    • Directive 2014/35/EU relating to Electrical Equipment Designed for Use within Certain Voltage Limits
