DPTU “Kozuvcanka” doo is a privately owned company, founded in 1995. The Company is one of the leaders in the market for natural mineral water, natural spring water, soft drinks and juices. The lion’s share (99%) of the company’s production is sold in the domestic market.

The main products are sold under the brands Kozuvcanka (natural carbonated water) and Izvorska (natural mineral water). Production takes place in two facilities in Kavadarci, one for the production of mineral and spring water, and the second for the production of carbonated and non-carbonated juices. In 2004 “Kozuvcanka” doo obtained the license for the bottling of the German international brand SINALCO, encompassing the brands Sinalco Kola and Sinalco Orange, Sinalco Pear, Sinalco Lemon, Sinalco Plus, Ice teas with peach and cranberry flavors and the energy drink Sinalco Energy. In 2015 the Company invested in a beer production, marketed under the brand Macedonian Beer. The company is certified for: HALAL; ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015; ISO 22000:2005; OHSAS 18000:2007 and CAC RCP 1-1969, REV.4 (2003) ANNEX 1.

The company now invested into a new canning line fro soft drinks as well as for its beer products.

The new machine increases and improves output capacity and product quality, but also reduces the company’s impact on the environment.  The higher level of automation and the lower noise emissions of the machine improve the occupational health and safety of the company’s employees.

Kozuvcanka doo received free technical assistance to optimize its investment project and can expect to receive a 15% cash-back grant, once the project has been successfully verified, funded by the European Union.

With the investment, the company now meets a wide variety of European standards, including:

    • Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EEC
    • EU Regulation 2023/2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food
    • Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety and further modifications
    • Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery
