International Road TRansport

IM Transport d.o.o. Žepče, is an international goods transportation company with 59 employees. The company was founded in 1999. The fleet of 49 trucks and 49 semi-trailers and 9 other smaller vehicles vans, and tandems is operated out of the company’s Headquarter in Čustovo Brdo, half way between Maglaj and Žepče. The company is specialized in international freight transport and both, vehicles and drivers have ADR certificates. Main destination markets include Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and other areas.

In order to increase the competitiveness of the Company in international transport, increase the efficiency in services, decrease the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and the expenses (tolls) in EU countries, the company replaced three trucks (one Euro 2 and two Euro 5) with three new DAF XF450FT with Euro 6 engines. 

The company received free technical assistance to optimize its investment project and 15% grant cash-back after the successful project verification, funded by the European Union. 

With the investment, the company now meets a wide variety of standards, including:

    • Resolution CEMT/CM/ (2005)9/FINAL of the Ministers of Transport for Transporting Goods in EU Member States
    • Directive 2014/47/EU on the technical roadside inspection of the roadworthiness of commercial vehicles circulating in the Union and repealing Directive 2000/30/EC,
    • Regulation (EU) No 165/2014 on tachographs in road transport, repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No 3821/85 on recording equipment in road transport and amending Regulation (EC) No 561/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonisation of certain social legislation relating to road transport,
    • Commission Regulation (EU) No 582/2011 implementing and amending Regulation (EC) No 595/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council with respect to emissions from heavy duty vehicles (Euro VI) and amending Annexes I and III to Directive 2007/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council;
    • Regulation (EC) No 595/2009 on type-approval of motor vehicles and engines with respect to emissions from heavy duty vehicles (Euro VI) and on access to vehicle repair and maintenance information and amending Regulation (EC) No 715/2007 and Directive 2007/46/EC and repealing Directives 80/1269/EEC, 2005/55/EC and 2005/78/EC;
    • Directive 2000/53/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 September 2000 on end-of life vehicles.
