Mebel Acevski has a 20-year history as a successful manufacturer of a wide range of furniture and doors, creating functional and inspiring interior designs. The company is based at two different locations in Skopje, while clients are spread across Europe. Mebel Acevski’s vision is to improve the quality of living areas, office premises and public areas. Every product is unique, distinctive and tailor-made to the requirements of the client.

The company invested on automated edge-banding machine OTT and Air Compressor Atlas. The new investment reduces the company’s impact on the environment due to the reduction in glue consumption for the automated edge-bander machine, lower electricity consumption and reduced noise levels. The company also invested in a new compressor. The integrated dryer in the air compressor prevents condensation and corrosion, and the vertical design of the vessel prevents oil contamination As a result of the investment, the company has reduced its “ecological footprint” by almost 60%. Other benefits include an increase in product quality and safety, more precise work processes, and improvement of Occupational Health & Safety.

The company received free technical assistance to optimize its investment project and a 15% grant cash-back after the successful project verification, funded by the European Union.
