Efficient Harvesting

AD NIKOLINCI is a Joint Stock Company, founded in 1998. Its main business focus on the production of wheat and other crops. Production is organized on 1,220 hectares of land in the Mlinska bb, Municipality of Alibunar.

To increase the overall productivity and efficiency of the whole harvesting process, the company invested in a new combine-harvester Lexion 6800 and a new grain header Maxflex 770 with the head trolley 7.7 m/7.5 m, both produced by the company CLAAS.

The new combine-harvester is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology, such as:

  • APS Synflow Straw-walker – a new system with improved performance for threshing and grain separation, providing highest straw quality
  • Dynamic cooling – a new cooling system that requires less engine output and therefore saves fuel and maintenance costs
  • Dynamic power – this ensures the lowest possible fuel consumption and reduces overall operating costs
  • Jet stream – a new cleaning system which provide high standard of cleaning and reduces sieve loading

In addition, the new machines provide a significantly higher level of occupational health and safety than the ones that are replaced as well as a much higher comfort for operators.

After the successful project verification, Nikolinci received a 15% grant cash-back, funded by the European Union.  With the investment, which was financed by UniCredit Leasing, the company now meets a wide variety of standards, including:

  • Regulation (EU) N. 167/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 February 2013 on the approval and market surveillance of agricultural and forestry vehicles Text with EEA relevance.
  • Directive 89/654/EEC concerning the minimum safety and health requirements for the workplace.
  • Directive 2012/27/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 on energy efficiency, amending Directives 2009/125/EC and 2010/30/EU and repealing Directives 2004/8/EC and 2006/32/EC
