Serving the Construction Sector

Liria Shpk is a family owned business that was established in the early 90’s and changed its status to a Limited Liability Company in 2016. The core business of the company is retail, public tendering and procurement of a wide variety of building and hardware materials.

To accommodate its expanding business, the company decided to create a new trading center with vastly expanded trading floor as well as warehousing space. The company also wanted to decrease its energy consumption and the new building was insulated and fitted with modern building technology including heat pumps for the provision of heating and cooling.

The new facility is constructed with high quality thermal insulation materials.  The Heat Pump installed has a cooling capacity of 15.5 kW with total power input 4.4 kW and EER 3.5 and also heating capacity of 15 kW with total power input 3.9 kW and COP 4.

Liria received free technical assistance to optimize its investment project and a 15% cash-back grant after the successful project verification, funded by the European Union.

With the investment, the company now meets a wide variety of European standards, including:

    • Directive 89/654/EEC concerning Minimum Safety and Health Requirements for the Workplace.
    • Directive 2012/27/EU on energy efficiency
