Modern Transport

Ćićko Commerce d.o.o. is a privately owned limited liability company that was founded in 1996 for the provision of domestic and international passenger transportation. Services of the company include passenger transportation and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in coffee shops. The Company employs 54 people and has offices in city of Tomislavgrad and Livno, as well as two coffee shops in both cities. For the passenger transportation lines, the company own and uses 37 buses and vans as well as 17 cars, trucks, working machines and a tractor.

Mainly for its passenger transport lines to Germany and the Prozor-Tomislavgrad-Zagreb lines, the company decided to a modern travel bus to its fleet of vehicles. The new bus is more energy efficient, has lower GHG emissions and also improves the occupational health and safety of drivers and passengers.

The company received free technical assistance to optimize its investment project and 15% grant cash-back after the successful project verification, funded by the European Union. 

With the investment, the company now meets a wide variety of standards, including:

• • Regulation (EC) No 1073/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 on common rules for access to the international market for coach and bus services and amending Regulation (EC) No 561/2006;
  • EU directive 2007/46 – approval of motor vehicles, trailers and vehicle components
  • EU regulation 661/2009 – approval requirements for motor vehicle safety
  • Regulation (EU) No 165/2014 on tachographs in road transport, repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No 3821/85 on recording equipment in road transport and amending Regulation (EC) No 561/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonisation of certain social legislation relating to road transport
  • EU directive 2003/26 – speed limiters and exhaust emissions for commercial vehicles
  • Commission Regulation (EU) No 582/2011 implementing and amending Regulation (EC) No 595/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council with respect to emissions from heavy duty vehicles (Euro VI)
  • Directive 2000/53/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 September 2000 on end-of life vehicles
