N.T.P. Butterfly deals with packaging and selling of hygiene products. It supplies some of the biggest stores with hygiene products for females and diapers for children. The company’s portfolio range includes around 30 products and the demand for Butterfly products is growing every day.
Butterfly’s business was originally located in a rented premises in an old building, partially adapted to be used for storage and partially for packaging of the products. The building itself did not fulfil the minimal Health and Safety requirements for employees.
With the help of the Kosovo SME Competitiveness Support Programme, the company invested in the construction of a new production warehouse and administrative space, including the installation of electrical systems and installation of a modern HVAC system. Butterfly transferred all business operations into the new building, which is energy efficient and will helps the company save energy and reduces operational costs. Moreover, the new premises guarantees a safe and healthy work environment for its employees.
Butterfly received free technical assistance to optimize its investment project and a 15% cash-back grant after the successful project verification, funded by the European Union.
