Sustainable Convenience

“Nori Group” Sh.P.K. was founded in 2022 and is a main supplier of paper cups to various retailers in Kosovo, such as Viva Fresh Store, ETC, Meridian, Interex and others.

Building on its young but substantial success, the company prepared for expansion into export markets, such as Albania and North Macedonia by investing in the expansion of its production. The new machines improve the overall product range to a greater variety in paper cup sizes, the product quality and also improves the safety and efficiency of the production process.

The production process consists of three key machines for paper cup forming, printing and die cutting.

The higher level of automation has reduced the degree of manual intervention to the material feed and packaging, greatly improving the occupational health and safety of workers. The process efficiency is significantly higher with the new machine, resulting in an energy efficiency ratio of 30%. The new machine is also more efficient in terms of raw materials, minimizing the amount of paper scrap. Enhancing the waste reduction approach further, what little paper scrap is produced by the machine is sold off for recycling.

With the investment, the company now meets a wide variety of European standards, including:
