APPLY?\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b6b39a1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7b6b39a1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">The following companies can apply for a loan and grant from the Montenegro SME Competitiveness Support Programme:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>SME companies, enterprises, firms, businesses, sole proprietors, or other legal entity formed under the laws of Montenegro , or individuals registered as entrepreneurs or engaged in economic activities, in accordance with the laws of Montenegro .<\/li><li>The applicant is operating primarily in Montenegro or has a fixed place of business in Montenegro through which its business is wholly or partly carried out.<\/li><li>The applicant has less than 250 employees and the annual turnover is NOT above EUR 50 million equivalent, and\/or has an annual balance sheet that does NOT exceed EUR 43 million equivalent.<\/li><li>The applicant\u2019s business is NOT majority-owned or controlled by the government of Montenegro , or by a local government body, or by any other political, governmental or administrative body, agency or Sub-division thereof. Public utilities, which are majority owned or controlled by the government of Montenegro or local governments or government agencies of Montenegro are NOT eligible for Sub-Loans.\u00a0 For the avoidance of doubt, the total percentage of ownership of a Sub-Borrower by the government or a government entity, whether legal or beneficial, direct or indirect, may not be greater than 49% and the government and\/or any government entity shall not be directly or indirectly involved in the day-to-day management of the applicant\u2019s business, or have control over directing the applicant\u2019s affairs.<\/li><li>The applicant has obtained all necessary approvals and permits and is otherwise in compliance with national environmental, social and health and safety legislation of Montenegro .<\/li><li>The applicant is NOT included on EBRD&#8217;s list of persons or entities ineligible to be awarded an EBRD-financed contract or for EBRD funding.<\/li><li>The following companies, businesses, person or entities CANNOT apply for a loan and grant under the Montenegro SME Competitiveness Support Programme:<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a16f077 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4a16f077\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>companies and businesses involved in production and\/or trade of arms or military equipment;<\/li>\n<li>financial institutions or financial services companies;<\/li>\n<li>insurance businesses;<\/li>\n<li>companies and businesses involved in production of tobacco or hard liquor;<\/li>\n<li>companies and businesses involved in sale of tobacco or hard liquor (other than where the sale of tobacco or hard liquor is ancillary to the entity&#8217;s primary business activity);<\/li>\n<li>casinos or other gambling facilities;<\/li>\n<li>companies and businesses involved in speculative investments in property or currencies or any other speculative investment;<\/li>\n<li>companies and businesses involved in investments in securities of any kind, including investments in share capital of other companies;<\/li>\n<li>any activities appearing on the EBRD Environmental and Social Exclusion List (https:\/\/ebrdgeff.com\/romania\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Environmental_and_Social_Exclusion_and_Referral_Lists.pdf)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Helvetica&quot;,sans-serif;\nmso-fareast-font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;;mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:\nEN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA\">without the prior written consent of EBRD, any\nactivities appearing on the &nbsp;indicative list of Category A projects\nincluded as Appendix 2 to the EBRD Environmental and Social Policy (dated April\n2019 \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/news\/publications\/policies\/environmental-and-social-policy-esp.html\">https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/news\/publications\/policies\/environmental-and-social-policy-esp.html<\/a>);\nsuch Sub-Projects will be required to meet EBRD Performance Requirements<\/span><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-7d0e5269 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"7d0e5269\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">WHICH PROJECT INVESTMENTS ARE ELIGIBLE?\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6aa09516 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6aa09516\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>The investment project must be financially viable and meet the usual credit criteria of the Partner Bank in accordance with its usual credit appraisal procedures. The decision if a loan will be given or not rests with the Partner Banks of the Programme and neither EBRD, nor EU, nor the Project Consultants have any influence on the decision.<\/li><li>The project is implemented in Montenegro.<\/li><li>It is in compliance with all applicable national environmental, social and health and safety legislation and employment regulations and standards in effect inMontenegro , as well as any relevant public consultation obligations in effect in Montenegro.<\/li><li>The investment project has not benefitted, or will not benefit, from another grant.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-651b1618\" data-id=\"651b1618\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-24eae878 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"24eae878\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To be eligible for financing under the Programme, each investment Project shall comprise:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>an investment in industrial premises, equipment, software, improvement of the enterprise management systems and or general upgrading that is designed to improve compliance with one or more of the EU Directives in the field of environmental protection, workers&#8217; safety and product quality and safety, as listed in the Priority EU Directives, applicable to the relevant investment project; or with an EU Directive (other than a Priority EU Directive) which our technical team has confirmed that you should comply with.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>In addition and where relevant, investment may be made in high performance technologies meeting the criteria for high performance technologies.\u00a0 Our team of experts will additionally provide guidance to you regarding the optimisation of technology choices aimed at increasing the financial viability of your investment project.\u00a0<\/p><p>I<b>n addition to the above, the following specific eligibility criteria apply:<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4e4667ee elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4e4667ee\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Second Hand Equipment<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7e5e051c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7e5e051c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Second hand hard to justify under the Montenegro SME Competitiveness Support Programme, as investments in second hand equipment bear many risks.\u00a0 It is recommended to focus on brand new equipment.<\/p><p>Financing of second hand equipment is possible if on an exceptional basis the equipment was thoroughly evaluated by our team of experts and if the following conditions are fulfilled:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>Equipment is fully reconditioned by the producer or by an authorized center<\/li><li>Equipment has a guarantee of at least 6 months issued by the reconditioning company<\/li><li>Fairness of the investment cost compared to a new equivalent is proven<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-19d09a9c\" data-id=\"19d09a9c\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b0383ab elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"5b0383ab\" elementor-size-default\">Vehicles<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-547fa33f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"547fa33f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Vehicles are eligible for a loan and grant under the Programme if they:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>are used for business purposes only<\/li><li>replace old vehicles (evidence of scrapping the old vehicle must be provided)<\/li><li>meet foreseen EU standards<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>The following detailed criteria exist for the different vehicle type, in addition to the abovementioned criteria:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>Taxi: vehicles have to be hybrid cars<\/li><li>Trucks: meet at least Euro 6 norm;<\/li><li>Vans: meet at least Euro 6 norm, registered by local law for goods transportation for commercial purposes and strictly for company business<\/li><li>Busses: meet at least Euro 6 norm, in line with the company&#8217;s business (transport of passengers).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>Second hand vehicles are <strong>not<\/strong> eligible.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-418d8102\" data-id=\"418d8102\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\"
